Love - Belladone / Zvleta

We are privileged to have previously worked with these bands. They are shining examples of just how powerful a two-piece can be. We immediately saw the similarities in their tone and approach, and got them in touch with each other. This record is composed of their best works yet.

Both bands recorded in single sessions, best listened to as a whole but they have been labelled as their individual movements and pieces for ease of navigation.

A dark oppressive shadow hangs over Belladone's side. Their distinct brand of Gallic post-hardcore with blackened roots marks a healthy progression from previous releases. A burst of feedback leads into the jagged edges of the Zvleta half. Their metallic hardcore is as furious as ever, but with some more vulnerable moments of scream singing that convey genuine angst.

These are troubling times - despite the turmoil and heaviness within, the music remains a product of love. We hope you feel it too.
